Jeb Murray has the combination of courtroom experience and tactful pragmatism to know when court is not necessary to resolve important issues.
Jeb spent five years in Court as the Chief Assistant Solicitor General for Augusta-Richmond County before going into private practice with the law firm Hunter Maclean in 2002. Since then, Jeb has developed an expansive practice including civil litigation, probate and estate law, banking law and commercial and residential real estate. He is general counsel and Parliamentarian for SRP Federal Credit Union. He was Managing Partner for Warlick, Stebbins, Murray and Chew prior to their merger with Turner Padget in 2018.
The sign of good work is the loyalty of one’s clients. Jeb has been working with SRP Federal Credit Union since 2006 and is enjoying its tremendous growth in the Central Savannah River Area. Likewise, Jeb closed a large commercial property transaction for Jensen’s Communities in 2013 and has served as their attorney in Aiken and Augusta continuously since then.
Jeb is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, he has been named a Super Lawyer and is licensed to issue title policies for Old Republic Title.
Jeb is licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina which is invaluable to clients who do business across state lines.
Deeply involved in the Augusta Community, Jeb has been the Chairman of the Central Savannah River Land Trust two times and has served on its Board for 15 years. Jeb has also chaired the Board of SafeHomes of Augusta, and he has served on the Board for the Imperial Theatre and on the Ethics Committee for Gracewood Hospital. Jeb is also a member of the Advisory Committee for the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
