The majority of Baxley’s practice centers upon the development, purchase, sale and financing of both residential and commercial real estate. He also practices in the areas of probate, wills, general business and corporate matters, including the purchase and sale of existing businesses.
Baxley represents developers, builders and lending institutions in the acquisition and financing of real estate transactions.His particular emphasis is upon assuring that the current state of the land in question, as related to easements and other encumbrances are compatible with the intended use or project of the land by the client.
Baxley is a native of Augusta, Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American and Augusta Bar Association and Business Network International. He is also a former member and board member of the Martinez/Evans Rotary Club. Baxley and his wife, the former Virginia Dodd, have three children and are active members of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Augusta, where he currently serves on the church Vestry Board.
